2025 Bridal Beauty Trends to Watch
I can’t believe this year has flown by so quickly and that it’s already November… which means theres only 2 months until 2025!!! This year has been crazy with more weddings than ever, more killer product launches than we’ve had in quite some time, and the beauty industry just continuing to BOOM! I’ve been watching the bridal beauty trends over the past few months and I’ve compiled a list of what I think we’re going to be seeing a lot more of in the bridal space in the year to come!
Bold Red Lips — I know we’ve seen the emergence of the ‘no-makeup-sophia-richie-wedding-glam’ however, I’ve had a fair share of brides asking for a bold red lip or a lived in red stain on their lips. Move over pinky-brown… a new girl has entered the villa! And she’s bolder than ever! 2025 is about letting go of the rules and expressing yourself how you see fit; especially on your wedding day! Bare Lids — I think a lot of girls don’t wear eyeshadow on a daily basis so seeing themselves with a full cut crease or shimmering beams lids can be a little off putting. I have a lot of clients asking for barely there lids paired with a smokey liner or sharp wing. While they may be asking for ‘bare’ its our job to give the illusion of ‘nothing on the lid.’ My favorite palettes for achieving this are:

Multi-Day Event Glam — One day shindigs are a thing of the past. If weddings are going to cost this much and require this much planning I understand why couples want to make a weekend out of it instead of a one-night get together. Multiple brides have requested me to glam them for their entire bridal weekend. Typically that consists of a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, wedding day, and send off brunch the next day! If you’re a 2025 bride considering a weekend long event, hire your beauty bestie to come and make you feel fabulous for the whole weekend! It’s a great way to feel pampered and look your best without the stress!
Vintage Inspired Looks — One trend I find interesting is the discard of today’s age of inspo pics. I feel like more and more brides will draw makeup inspiration from traditional, classic, and vintage weddings to create their look. And I mean true vintage— not 2012. Bespoke looks that create an overall vibe, not just slapping on some Benefit Cookie in the inner corner. A major trend seen at New York Bridal Fashion Week was corsets and basque waist dresses which play perfectly into a vintage themed wedding look.
Smaller Bridal Parties — Maybe its just me, but I feel like bridal parties have shifted from bride +15 girls to bride +3 close besties that are intentional and creating a memorable loving moment. Don’t get me wrong, I love a large bridal party of all your favorites from childhood, middle school, high school, college, work, day care, book club, pickleball, PTA, HOA, BNI, and then some, but theres something about an intimate, intentional, ~demure~ bridal party!
Matte Vibes — Dare I say, the glow may be going away?? Thats a crazy thought but I think that the all over glowy/dewy look may not be with us in 2025. I’m predicting that with the rise of the vintage inspired makeup looks that highlighter will be used so much more sparingly and intentional. Goodbye Glazed Donuts!
Body Radiance — If you’re not already seeing body glow on most brides now, you absolutely will be in 2025. It is the ultimate final touch to the makeup routine that just elevates the entire look! Personally, I go for more finely glimmering inner glow radiance liquids for body glow than true glitters. If you prefer glitter girl, get you some glitter! Mens Grooming — Am I the only one who thinks it’s hot for a man to care about his appearance? Especially on his wedding day! I believe we’ll be seeing a lot more of a little concealer under the grooms eyes and powder on the shiny forehead. Men deserve to feel their best too and if we don’t wake up looking perfect (I won’t tell anyone), why do we think they do too?
Themed Makeup Looks — Hear me out, more and more brides are wanting to create an overall vibe or theme for their big day. Like an ethereal garden party tucked away with a chandelier lit aisle. I think in 2025 brides are going to want their makeup to encompass the overall theme of their wedding day, and that includes their bridal party too. No slacking here, bridesmaids.
Effortless Expression — It’s 2025, my prediction is that brides are done conforming to traditional standards and practices of what we think weddings are. People are unique. When two unique people come together and merge their lives, its should be an experience where they are free to be their authentic selves! Not putting on a show for me, you and grandma. 2025 is the year of authenticity in the Bridal Beauty Industry. It's time for new traditions.
