Top 5: Favorite Face Brushes
Welcome to the party! The Makeup party that is… The skin is one of my favorite aspects of makeup and how a look can come together. I specialize in creating a soft, flawless, glowy look on the skin. The tools I use to create that effortless base are SO important to the process. Below are 5 of my all time favorite face brushes that make my job a lot easier and create the most flawless of foundations.
The Sigma F47 Multitasker Brush is just that. A jack of all trades brush that can be used for any step of makeup on the face or body. I love this brush to apply cream contour or blush with as it is angled and perfectly sits into the hollow of the cheek exactly where I want to place the contour shades. Sigma creates many of my favorite and most used brushes. They are super sturdy and soft to the touch. $25
Another brush that deserves a standing ovation for how amazing it performs in any makeup situation is this one, the Sigma F35 Tapered Highlighting Brush. This brush changes the glow game and creates the most iconic and blinding glow with any highlight. Switching to a tapered brush to apply highlight instead of a fan brush will change the way the pigment is deposited onto the face. Using a sweeping motion this brush gently coats the high points of the cheek leaving the ultimate glow.
A staple foundation brush that will never leave my kit is the Morphe 439 Buffer Brush. This brush has helped me glam over hundreds of women and seen tons of bridal action. It creates the best base for all foundation and works well to leave no streaks like some brushes can. For how high quality this brush is, it is super affordable at only $18. Compared to most luxury makeup brands this is a low price for a huge makeup payoff.
For a smooth and creaseless under eye I need a concealer brush that works well with not only the concealer product but all the other base products as well. The F70 Concealer Brush from Sigma is my go-to for cleaning up the under eye or the corners of the lip.
My all time favorite blush brush is probably the most affordable brush on the list at a whopping $9. Real Techniques makes incredible quality affordable brushes that last! I have been using this Ultra Plush Blush Brush since I started my makeup career. There just isn’t another brush that performs at this level for this price point.
