I’m Taking a Leap…
Welcome! Whether you’re new here and just heard about me or you’ve been following along my beauty journey for years, I am so grateful you are are here! This blog post is going to be a little different that usual. Typically you’ll catch me on here talking about all thing makeup, bridal, favorite product recs and more. But today, this one is about me.
Ever since I can remember, water has been my happy place. From growing up on Kentucky Lake in western Kentucky to admiring the incredible beaches of Hawaii and the Virgin Islands, I knew I wanted to live and be near water. I feel most at home and at my truest self when I can immerse myself in the salty clutches of the ocean. I have lived in Athens, Ga since I was around 9 years old after moving here from Kentucky. I learned how to drive on the streets of downtown and frolicked on North Campus long before I would be accepted into UGA! This town has given me so many blessings, good people, and even better memories. I will cherish each late-night Little Italy run and every band I snuck in to see at the Georgia Theater. I loved growing up in a small college town and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
But…
This year, I found so many new opportunities outside of Athens to grow my business and take my makeup career to the next level. I have been booking weddings and events in Tampa, FL and I am loving the change of scenery and pace. I love the hustle, the atmosphere and the lifestyle that spending time in Tampa has brought me. While I will still be taking weddings and events all over Georgia, I am relocating myself to Tampa! I will be able to grow my clientele here more and add special time and attention to all the possibilities I’m finding in the bay! I am so excited to be making this leap and taking you guys along the journey with me!
This is a huge leap for myself and my business and I am so excited for everything that’s in store.
With all these good things being said, Tampa is experiencing major flooding right now from Hurricane Idalia. Please keep everyone affected by this in your thoughts and send good vibes their way as they recover and repair. I have also attached a few links to donate to relief efforts. Each will go directly to the families of Tampa.
